JOB SUMMARY: Assigned to MSCB at SAFB. Ensures all assigned SCIF personnel are aware of and follow established data-transfer procedures and ensure procedures are in place for purging, declassifying, and releasing system memory, media and output. Review and provide recommendations for user accounts on SCI AIS and serve as JWICS trusted agent for Wing SCIFs by obtaining accounts for personnel with sufficient need and mission impact. Recommend actions and ensure compliance with all SOPs for 460 SW SCIFs and report noncompliance to SIO or appropriate personnel IAW DoD 5105.21 M1. Assist with IA duties for 460 SW SCIFs and include SCI AIS accreditation, baseline maintenance, and network connectivity architecture. Update and maintain an AIS baseline for all 460 SW SCIFs and update and maintain a network diagram for each of the AIS systems within supported SCIFs. Review physical and logical architecture specifications to verify IA requirements are satisfied at an appropriate level of risk and report any issues to the Government as required.

PRIMARY DUTY RESPONSIBILITIES: Managing TS networks ensuring controlled access and updates to an SCI system. Patching updates and other system administrative related tasks on TS networks such as Government Wide Area Network (GWAN), Joint Worldwide Intelligence Communications System (JWICS), VIAS, Blue/Red SIS, and Defense Red Switch Network (DRSN). Obtaining accounts for personnel with enough need and mission impact to SOC or OBAC. Receiving, inspecting, approving, and recording all equipment entering and exiting SCIFs in accordance with appropriate regulations to include Department of Defense (DoD) 5105.21 M1. Ensuring equipment is installed and removed in accordance with all SCI regulations and TEMPEST policy. Verifying Information Assurance (IA) requirements are satisfied at an acceptable physical and logical architecture specifications level of risk.


RELEVANT EXPERIENCE: At least eight (8) years of security-related experience required. Experience with multi-level security disciplines (physical, information, communications, and personnel security) highly desired. Experience supporting SCI and SAP-level requirements highly desired.

EDUCATION/CERTIFICATION: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related security discipline highly desired. Security+ certification required.
